Our violin teachers are extremely proficient musicians and can teach most styles including classical, contemporary and jazz as well as music theory and aural skills. All our teachers can prepare students for AMEB examinations.

Lucinda Poy is a Perth-based indie-pop artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist currently studying Contemporary Music at WAAPA. Raised in Brisbane and influenced by artists like Maggie Rogers and Spacey Jane, Lucinda blends indie, pop, and rock styles in both her performances and teaching. In 2024, she released two original singles, Just Fine and Selling Out, with playlist features on Apple Music’s ‘New in Indie’ and ‘New in Alternative’. She has performed across Perth, Brisbane, and Busselton, sharing the stage with artists like Dami Im and Ben Abraham. Lucinda is trained in voice, piano, classical violin (AMEB Grade 8), and guitar. With a warm, collaborative teaching style, she helps students build confidence while exploring a wide range of musical styles — from classical foundations to contemporary songwriting.
